Been back on track and currently on a 90 day cut, so naturally I’m trying to come up with delicious ways to jazz up lean meats to keep my mind off pepperoni pizza and pumpkin spice lattes!
Here is a recipe for Thai flavor turkey burgers, I served these in lettuce cups with a bit of low fat spicy mayo.
To make 4 burgers:
1 pound 99% lean ground turkey
1/2 small red onion, minced (about 1/4 C)
2 tsp garlic minces
1 Tbl lemon grass paste (available at wegmans, in the produce section)
1 tsp ginger paste (also at wegmans in produce)
2 Tbl thai yellow curry paste (Hmart)
1/2 C chopped cilantro
Just mix all ingredients into the meat and split into 4 patties.
I baked mine at 350° F for around 30 minutes until cooked through, but you could also grill these or pan sear them.
Yellow Curry Paste
